A leading UK construction and infrastructure company, recognised the need to strengthen key competencies and skills among its employees, particularly in leadership, communication, and collaboration. These skills are essential for effective project execution and team cohesion, yet are often difficult to measure through conventional performance metrics.

To address this, their learning & development partner, KSA Learning , introduced a structured development program supported by the My360Goals Feedback Tool. This tool was chosen to provide comprehensive, anonymous, and multi-perspective feedback that would serve as both a diagnostic and benchmarking mechanism throughout the learning journey.

Task

The goal was to implement a training and coaching program that could track and measure key competencies and development in a meaningful way. The client needed a solution that would:

  • Provide personalised feedback to delegates.
  • Encourage accountability and continuous growth.
  • Measure improvement through tangible data points.
  • Align with the organisation’s core values and behavioural expectations.

Action

KSA Learning designed and implemented a multi-phase development initiative, integrating the My360 tool at key touchpoints within key cohorts across the clients company:

  1. Designing a bespoke question set
    The My360Goals system enabled the KSA Learning team to create a bespoke question set tailored to the client’s needs, aligning with the behavioral framework they had already established in the business. This approach ensured that delegates could integrate and reinforce these specific behaviours throughout the program and continue applying them in the workplace.
  2. Pre-Training 360 Feedback
    Delegates completed an initial My360 assessment, gathering confidential feedback from managers, peers, and subordinates. This established a baseline of each individual’s current strengths and development areas to move forward in the program.
  3. Training and Coaching Program
    Participants engaged in tailored workshops focused on soft skills like leadership, communication, and team management. Parallel coaching sessions were conducted to support the practical application of these skills.
  4. Post-Training 360 Feedback
    After the program concluded, a second My360 assessment was administered to measure individual growth and development. The comparison of pre- and post-training feedback provided measurable insights into the effectiveness of the intervention.

Result

KSA Learning have conducted further feedback and found the use of My360Goals in conjunction with the development program led to several significant outcomes:

    Delegates showed marked progress in key stakeholder communication skills. Final feedback metrics reflected positive behavioural changes, confirming that the coaching and training made a tangible impact alongside the My360Goals reports.

    The multi-rater feedback encouraged individuals to take ownership of their development. Many expressed increased motivation to act on feedback and implement learning in real world situations.

  • Successfully integrated into 26 cohorts
    With a total of 232 delegates who actively participated in the development program, all completing the My360Goals feedback and receiving reports, this ensured broad engagement and impactful learning across the client’s company.
